Processing Center Advisory Committee Conference Call
March 5, 2001
The fourth meeting of the Processing Center Advisory Committee was held via conference call on March 5, 2001 at 2:00 PM EST.
With Jim Boyer having resigned as the Processing Center Advisory Committee Chairman late in 2000, Michael Rector opened the meeting. The following persons attended as participants:

The Committee agreed to appoint Ken Crandall as PCAC Chairman, QCS Director, and Audit Review Committee member.
Jerry Steuernagel confirmed that he had reviewed the database items in AIPL Formats 2, 4, and 14 with the George Wiggans and had determined which items were necessary for genetic evaluations. Copies of the documents were presented to the Committee and each database item was noted as fixed, variable, or not required.
Jerry agreed to edit the format documents, add a column with the Committees core variable designations, and provide copies to the Committee members. Copies of the format revisions are included as attachments to these Minutes.
Michael and Jerry agreed to develop a time frame and schedule a face-to-face meeting for the Committee to set acceptable tolerances for the AIPL Format variables.
The Committee discussed the handling of experimental test codes, innovative test plan records, and robotic milking system data but did not reach any decisions in those matters.
